With major investors and a who’s-who of advisors, the young startup is already enjoying major global reach. In fact, the free test prep app has already been adopted by millions of students around the world, and the company is continuing to disrupt spaces as varied as recruiting, admissions, and student loan — all backed by a team of data scientists and world-class educators.

Ready4 approached us to create a visual identifier that would match their newly earned leadership role as the most advanced mobile platform for standardized test prep.

VISUAL IDENTITY

Ready4 wanted an identity that spoke to both their technology roots and their “education for all” ethos. Something that felt competent and professional, but was still exciting. Nothing too obvious, but at the same time, it had to be clearly understood across a global market. It’s this balance that we pursued through a deep exploration of color, typography, and symbolism. The cohesive visual identity uses rich blues and elements of the number 4 to depict an arrow-like, upward trajectory. It’s an identity that fluidly extends across all media.

Clean, simple, modern: the design of the Ready4 website reflects the personality and aesthetics of the Ready4 brand position. Our primary goal was to bring about a natural evolution of the existing visual vocabulary and reinforce the Ready4 mission of connecting its audiences to opportunity. The timeless design ensures a level of familiarity with a freshness that appeals to today’s sensibilities. The new website effectively communicates to diverse audiences that include consumers, universities, partners, and potential employees and investors.

STYLE GUIDE

Creating a style guide for Ready4 to reference on all future projects is the natural extension of the work we did creating the brand’s identity and website. This cohesive reference document allows team members—located around the world—to maintain brand continuity with each communication and project. It’s this tool that will empower Ready4 to maintain consistency throughout each brand component and across products.

Celebrating the power of words to stimulate, agitate, unite, delight, and inspire, Boston Book Festival presents year-round events culminating in an annual festival that promotes a culture of reading and ideas and enhances the vibrancy of Boston. Inspired and ready to inspire, we created a bold, confident and provocative brand identity that is expressed in posters, merchandise, program booklets and a website.

New Hampton School is not your typical New England boarding school: it is a dynamic, innovative, unpretentious learning community cultivating lifelong learners who serve as active global citizens. New Hampton students truly Go Beyond in all ways. This simple yet provocative brand statement invites all members of the NHS community to keep an open mind and try new things. Our task was far more expansive than defining the two words that anchor this tremendous school. We vivified Go Beyond online and in print, showing there is no limit to where a New Hampton School education can take you and showing the unexpected, exploratory paths of a NHS education. The only difficulty you’ll have is narrowing the choices.

Rebranding

Striving for bright, energetic, fun and slightly quirky, we created an identity, suite of icons, promotional materials and a responsive website for Boston Book Festival’s inaugural children’s arts festival, Hubbub. Hubbub celebrates creativity, inventiveness, and exploration for children ages zero to twelve and their families.
