Kim has had 25-plus years’ experience developing strategic, integrated marketing programs for a diverse roster of institutional and corporate clients in the corporate, creative, health care, higher education, and nonprofit sectors. Her work with a diverse array of the nation’s most innovative and visionary independent schools has made her passionate about this sector, and much of Kim’s work in recent years has been split between independent schools and higher education/nonprofit organizations. Kim has hands-on experience with every area of admission marketing and fundraising for schools and universities and has held leadership positions in higher education, first at Mount Holyoke College, and, most recently as associate vice president for communication at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), where she was responsible for visual brand, messaging, web and social media, and public relations, overseeing that college’s marketing effort through a 50 percent rise in enrollment and the largest fundraising campaign in MICA’s history.
